QUANTUM READY SECURITY PRODUCTS
protecting your data from the threats of tomorrow
Quantum computing poses a serious threat to data assumed to be safe. It is only a matter of time before a quantum computer breaks current encryption standards.
Organizations and actors are collecting your encrypted data right now in the hopes they can decrypt in the future.
Post Quantum Cryptography Perfect Forward Secrecy.
Sorry, that's a mouthful. We took today's best encryption protocol (Perfect Forward Secrecy) and made it quantum computer ready (Post Quantum Cryptography).
TLDR: Kick ass future safe encryption
Post-quantum encryption is a new type of security designed to protect information against the potential threats posed by future quantum computers. Quantum computers are already on the verge of breaking the encryption systems we use today, like those that protect health, banking, emails, and personal data.
Traditional encryption relies on certain mathematical problems that are hard for today's computers to solve. However, quantum computers could solve these problems much faster, making current encryption vulnerable.
Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) is a security feature that ensures private data and conversations are protected, even if someone gains access to the encryption keys used in the past.
For example, when you make a secure payment, it's encrypted to keep it safe. Typically, this encryption uses keys to lock and unlock your data. However, if someone were to steal the encryption key, they could potentially unlock everything that was encrypted using that key in the past as well as the future.
Perfect Forward Secrecy protects against this by ensuring that each transaction has a unique set of encryption keys.
IronCircles is the first of its kind company to blend the protections from PQC and PFS into a single protocol and leverage it to offer products for both business and consumers to protect their data from the threats of tomorrow.
